In German there is a kind of proverb. "It is good to be someone with corners and edges." This means it is better to have your own opinion, be an individual and that you don’t have to be perfect and not being a yes-man or a follower.
All characters are composed of the same elements, but just the proportions - the corners and edges - make the difference!
I've chosen this as the inspiration for this project. BUT I just want to show that these corners and edges are in the wrong proportions as ugly as to be slippery. So I just want to show only bad characteristics - bad corners and edges, which have a negative effect on others and thus are more undesirable.
I love the color combinations, just the slight splashes of blue are enough to really bring this piece alive. I find the squaring to be genius, they give a sort of tough exterior, which makes it look like a really beautify rock women.
What I am honestly having problems with would be the long line through the center. I wish it would at least be the thickness of the outline of your drawing, I find it to be terribly disturbing otherwise. The only other thing I really see is the outline of the women herself are also a little low-quality. I would maybe lower the sharpness on the lines a little bit? Still keep them sharp, but not so pixelated.
Really though Martin, its outstanding, that is really just nit picking. This piece is very amazing, and I find it bold and exciting to see something no one is doing right now. Keep it up, this is interesting.
